In June I visited the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. It's a small, but mighty museum. Their featured exhibit was "Sonja Peterson: What The Trade Winds Brought." Sonja Peterson is a paper artist based in Minnesota. I was absolutely blown away by her paper cut art.

The exhibit goes until September 11, 2022 and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you find yourself somewhat close to the museum, GO! They have other wonderful exhibits so totally worth the trip.

Below are some photos I took and a video of her working on her art. I loved the color backgrounds behind the white paper. So striking and beautiful!
