I recently went to the Corning Museum of Glass and purchased a pair of earrings. The shopping bag I got was made of paper. I thought "I could turn that into an awesome gift bag!" So I did. I always hang onto shopping bags because I can't bring myself to get rid of them. Now I'm rounding up all my paper bags and up-cycling them into gift bags.
